Diagnostic Mechanical Technician for car center in Verrebroek, Belgium

As a Diagnostic Mechanical Technician in Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC), you are responsible for performing final technical checks on new passenger vehicles before they are delivered to car dealers across the Benelux. You carry out diagnostic procedures, analyze mechanical and electronic issues, and determine the necessary repairs. You also support your colleagues with general maintenance tasks on the vehicles.

Your responsibilities include the following:

· Safety and quality are always top-of-mind.

· Performing diagnostics on new vehicles to identify mechanical or electronic malfunctions.

· Analyzing faults and determining the appropriate repair or intervention.

· Supporting colleagues with day-to-day maintenance and preparation tasks.

· Ensuring clean, accurate, and high-quality work within the expected workflow.

· Communicating clearly with team members regarding vehicle status and required actions.

· Working independently while remaining a helpful and collaborative team member.

· Operating a forklift (if you hold a valid forklift certificate).

· Reporting findings and completed work to the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Education  - You have an electromechanical education or equivalent by experience

Work experience - You have at least five years of experience as a technician

Language - Communicative English

· Candidates need to pass a safety check – they cannot have anything on their criminal record.

· Stress-resistant self-starter with a hands-on mentality.

· Team player with technical insight and a passion for large machinery and outdoor work.

· A forklift certificate would be a bonus.

CONDITIONS

Regular hours per week - 38 hours per week

Paycheck - Weekly

Gross salary €20-€24.50/h

Estimated weekly net salary - €565-€645/week
