Warehouse site truck driver CE at Hoek, Belgium

The employer collects from its customers pellets and plastics, stores it in bulk silos, packs it and reloads it into other bulks, mainly sending it to automotive industries.

TASKS DESCRIPTION

Job Description

Internal driving only (on company’s own roads)
No long-distance driving
Drivers are given freedom; no planner with GPS tracking them
The company works based on trust

Daily tasks:

Driving bulk shuttles to the plant
Loading the truck themselves
Transporting the product to a site approx. 4 km away from the chemical plant
Placing the truck back into the silo
Swap and drop system
Drivers load themselves but do not unload; they swap

PROFILE

Requirements

CE driving license
VCA certificate
No tachograph required
No Code 95 required
English (well spoken)

CONDITIONS

Regular hours per week	40h/week
Paycheck	Every 2 weeks
Gross salary	€ 17-20/hour
Estimated net salary (after deductions: tax, rent, health insurance)	€500 – €570 a week (depends on experience)
Working hours	Alternating shifts, early/late: 06:45-14:45 and 14:45- 22:45 o’clock.
Shift allowance	7.5% shift allowance and travel allowance (home to work)
Overtime	Possible

HOUSING & TRANSPORTATION

Public transport possible?	No
License and car required?	Driver’s license, the car will be provided by agency
Rent of housing	145€/week (double room)
Medical insurance	38.50€/a week

HOLIDAY

Holiday entitlement:

23 holiday days
