TASKS DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Team Leader
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you combine hands-on warehouse operations with leading, motivating, and supporting the logistics team. You ensure that daily operations run efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards, while actively contributing to the achievement of operational objectives. You report to the Warehouse Manager and are responsible for leading a team of logistics employees.

Team Leadership
• Coordinate and supervise warehouse employees during daily operations
• Onboard, coach, and motivate team members
• Act as the first point of contact for questions and operational issues
• Define task allocation and set priorities within the team

Warehouse Operations
• Actively participate in order picking, loading and unloading, inventory management,
and preparing goods for shipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Resolve operational bottlenecks and day-to-day issues

Planning and Organization
• Ensure an efficient distribution of work
• Monitor progress, quality, and deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve logistics objectives

Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and working methods
• Actively contribute to efficiency and process optimization initiatives

Reporting and Administration
• Record performance results and deviations in company systems
• Report operational results and key findings to the Warehouse Manager

REQUIREMENTS
Several years of experience in a logistical teamleading role
Language - Communicative English + good basic of Dutch

CONDITIONS
Regular hours per week - 38h/week
Weekly Paycheck
Gross salary - 21€/h
Estimated net salary +-570€/week (housing costs not deducted yet)
Mealvouchers - 5€/worked day (of which €1.09 tax)
Shift hours - 15h30 tot 24h
Shift allowance - 10%
Overtime - Yes
How is overtime paid? 150%

HOUSING & TRANSPORTATION
Public transport possible? - No
Driver’s license and car required? - Would be a plus. Willing to ride a bike.

Rent of housing - €130/week (double room), €160/week (single room)

Medical insurance - 11€/month (invoice is sent for the months remaining in the year of start-up)
