TASKS DESCRIPTION

You will work with high-quality aluminium on challenging projects in a modern and well-equipped workshop. Every day, you will carry out a variety of welding tasks on aluminium window and door constructions, allowing you to showcase your craftsmanship. You will deliver precise work in a close-knit team focused on quality and collaboration.

Tasks

• Weld window and door constructions with a focus on high-quality results.

• Assemble individual profiles according to construction plans, making necessary adjustments to form a complete product.

• Think problem-solving and “out of the box” to achieve the most efficient welding process.

• Welding aluminium and other metals using a semi-automatic welding machine.

• Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong technical insight and hands-on mentality; you are an essential link in the production process.

Your responsibilities include the following:

· Safety and quality are always top-of-mind.

· Delivering clean, precise, and accurate work while maintaining the required pace.

· Working independently and planning your tasks efficiently.

· Willing to do the dirty work

· Ability or willingness to learn and use rolling bridge and the forklift.

The Welders use the technical plans and make the construction that the client wants – they have to get together all the raw products, think outside of the box, see how they can do it best – only when they know themselves how they have to put it together, the welding starts: it’s 20% of their work, for the rest it’s preparing, scaling, checking plans, thinking ahead, needing to be creative but also a handy person. They have to make themselves clear and also understand instructions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education - Highly appreciated

Work experience - Years of working experience is needed, alongside skills in using a semi-automatic welding machine.

Language - A good level of English is needed for this job

CONDITIONS

Regular hours per week - 38 hours per week

Paycheck - Weekly

Gross salary €18/h - 23€/h depending on experience.

Estimated netto weekly salary based on minimum worked hours and with maximum amount of taxes paid - +- 500€ to +- 590€

Mealvouchers €6.55/worked day (of which €1.09 tax)

Shift hours Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 16:30. Friday 7:30 – 11:30.

Extra CAO90 bonus, it’s an extra bonus based on an yearly result, depending on the target being reached or not.

Overtime - Sometimes

How is overtime paid? 150% (the overtime is paid almost free of taxes for the first 180h per year)

Public transport possible? No

Driver’s licence and car required? Nice to have, otherwise willingness to ride a bike.

Rent of  housing €102/week (double room) €154/week (single room)

Medical insurance 10€/month (invoice is sent for the months remaining in the year of start-up)
