Bodywork & Paint Technician at car center in Verrebroek, Belgium

As a Bodywork & Paint Technician in our Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC), you are responsible for delivering high-quality body and paint repairs on passenger vehicles before they are shipped to car dealers across the Benelux. The VPC is a specialized department where every vehicle receives its final touch, and where damages that occurred somewhere in the logistics chain are restored with precision and care.

Your responsibilities include the following:

· Safety and quality are always top-of-mind.

· Performing bodywork repairs and restoring panels to their correct structure.

· Steam-cleaning vehicle surfaces and thoroughly sanding all areas to be treated.

· Applying filler, primer layers, and preparing surfaces for paint.

· Painting vehicles and applying coatings according to required standards.

· Sanding or polishing paint imperfections and reapplying paint or clear coat when needed.

· Working with multispot equipment when necessary.

· Understanding daily priorities as guided by your coordinator and adapting smoothly.

· Planning your tasks efficiently and working independently.

· Delivering clean, precise, and professional work while maintaining the expected work tempo.

REQUIREMENTS

Education - You have an technical education or equivalent by experience

Work experience  -You have at least five years of experience as a spray painter

Language - Communicative English

· Candidates need to pass a safety check – they cannot have anything on their criminal record.

· Stress-resistant self-starter with a hands-on mentality.

· Team player with technical insight and a passion for large machinery and outdoor work.

CONDITIONS

Regular hours per week - 38 hours per week

Paycheck - Weekly

Gross salary €20-€24.50/h

Estimated weekly net salary - €565-€645/week
