Sensor Developer (Innovation) in Hungary

Working place

Global electronic manufacturer based in Midwest-Hungary (small town) one hour drive to Budapest. Main portfolio: high-quality sensing, identification and optical image processing solutions, network technology and software in all areas of automation.

Responsibilities

Development of hardware for sensors, signal conditioning, signal processing units, interfaces, IoT / IIoT electronic solutions, preparation and installation of the associated driver software
Design of analog and digital circuits, embedded hardware
Design of circuit diagrams, preparation of sample production
Installation and testing of electronic component samples (evaluation, development board, sensor chips)
Active involvement in the preparation of feasibility studies
Supporting product development projects, cooperation with Hungarian and German product developers

Qualifications required

Advanced degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, applied physics or mathematics or similar

It's an advantage

Experience in circuit simulation
Product development experience, proficiency in sensor development, knowledge of industrial communication protocols
Programming experience: Python, C, LabView, Matlab
Proficiency in embedded systems development

Expectations of the candidate

Basic hardware development knowledge
Communicative English language skills
Good problem-solving ability, high expectations for one's own work

Salary ranges:

- 0-1 years experience: gross. 500-550.000 HUF/ month (1400-1550 euro) + accommodation support (single flat paid by the employer) + administration support (work permit, etc.) + travelling support

- 1-5 years experience.: gross. 600-900.000 HUF / month (1700-2550 euro) + accommodation support (single flat paid by the employer) + administration support (work permit, etc.) + travelling support

- Family members are also welcome, and jobs could be offered for them as well

- Type of accomodation,: Single flats or smaller family houses. Amount: 100% support for renting fee

Company benefits (meals, transport, insuarance, health club, etc)

- additional gross. 550.000 HUF/year (1540 euro) plus benefit (called "cafeteria", this is a specific card, can spend for meals, food etc.), and there is a bonus system connected to KPIs: 1,5*monthly gross salary/year

Vacation policy

- according to the Hungarian law, basic is 20/year, average 28-30/year - it depends on age and number of children

Relocation expences

- reimbursement for travel expences

Duration of the employment contact

- unlimited, Hungarian work contract
