IT Apps functional analyst

The global IT platform of our company regroups a community of ~140 IT professionals across Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Poland, and has a critical role to support the company in its (digital) transformation through 4 key axis: service, security, value and agility.

Your mission

in Europe and North America are running their business processes in a homemade ERP solution (named Sidonie) for sales/procurement and production.

As a functional analyst within the global centre of excellence Business Applications of the IT platform, your mission will be to enhance as well as maintain and support Sidonie across 13 countries in close partnership with the business.

Your role

Ensure the smooth operation of the current processes in S&S:

Make sure the core model is respected

●

Support run & maintain activities

●

Provide support to business users

●

Use your experience for problem solving

●

Work with incumbent information system partners to develop the solution

●

Train key users on solutions and new developments

Manage and arbitrate requests for small evolution/ major project of the current solution:

●

Be one of the functional references in this scope (S&S / Sidonie)

●

Lead workshop to clarify business requirements

●

Write the functional specification for the partner

●

Challenge the partner on its cost estimate associated

●

Monitor developments in terms of quality and timeliness

●

Monitor project in terms of budget, quality and timelines

●

Test the solutions delivered by the partner

Support the IT transformation in their desire to improve the efficiency and productivity of the scope.

Your profile:

●

You are driven and feel accountable for your area of responsibility

●

You have been able to develop your skill set through at least 5 years of experience in IT projects in an industrial context

●

You are able to manage small & medium projects, supported by your strong organisational and planning skills and your collaborative mindset

●

You are mindful to deliver a quality service, and your focus on the customer involves flexibility to business demands

●

You speak English and French fluently, which supports your excellent communication skills both in writing (e.g. specifications) and speaking (e.g. being able to defend a proposal)

●

You are eager to learn and develop yourself, you are energised by new challenges
